Change in materials mark-up from March 2011.
As regular customers know I do not charge an
hourly rate for research, shopping, ordering parts, transport or storage. For
the last few years I have instead charged a flat 15% mark-up on the cost prices
of materials, parts and subcontracted services. Due to the massive rise in fuel
prices I have had to increase this amount to 20%.
